first image took a fair amount of time.... this was in the Christchurch botanical garden. a 15 min walk from our hotel. there were lots of cool trees and nice gardens. it also had a playground and wading pool where lots of kids were swimming. the next several pictures are from that days.

we brought a swim diaper and finn's swim suit. and he did get in. but we didn't really get a good picture of it. the pool was fairly large, but never got deeper than half a meter. (since we were in NZ, we hafta talk metric here).

they had an impressive rose garden, but we didn't get to stay long since finn (and debbie) we tired & hungry. i would have liked to spend more time browsing through the garden. had there been better weather, finn and i could have come back later in the week.
